Kohli comes up with the goods in an otherwise forgettable match to win against his archrival and end their long series of battles

When the hour came for India to play their last bat in an astonishing collapse against Pakistan, there was no one better than Captain Virat Kohli.

He had been resting on his laurels since last year's heartbreaking defeat at home soil and it seemed like he would be out again just as quickly this time around - only these were not your ordinary ageing side that fell apart under pressure before they could even get going! But then something happened... The manknown simply as 'The Art Of Maddness' took matters into.

India had lost 10 wickets in the space of just 36 minutes and it seemed like they would be bowled out for a low score. However, Kohli stood firm at 0-64 with consecutive sixes from two balls which left him on strike - he needed just one more hit before reaching his fifty!

The match continued to yield twists and turns, with dismissals happening at every turn. Suddenly it was just six off three balls - an easy task for India's batting lineup that had been in great form up until this point!

But then events took yet another surprising turn as Kohli (bcdf) hit onto the stands before being dismissed stump-less; luckily his team still needed two more runs than what became available after Miller trapped Haris immediately following those bowling deliveries.
